INSTALLATIONS

These are gallery installations. Unlike my paintings, which are as conservationally stable as I can make them, my installation artworks are ephemeral. This lends a sense of balance to my art practice.

My favourite thing is to spend a week or so in a gallery and create something specific to that space, to the environs, people and history of the gallery. When the exhibition is over, the work is disassembled and never repeated, although sometimes I re-create some elements in a different context.

There is one exception: The Fragile Planets was created in my studio and has been shown in several gallery spaces.
